Turn Soul Over; End of Life 1

Story

Since naming, I’ve discovered that not every music service accepts semicolons in a title; maybe that’s why they’re underused.

But as I close the first half with a track that exists to transition between the tracks on either side – it constantly slows down the beats per minute from one to the other – I think halves of an album, which is less of a thing in the CD+digital age, can signify starting over, given that this album has a theme of exploration and freedom.  Sometimes all you can do is get to the end of a half, turn the tape of your life over, and re-bring the energy.

(This song started off with the title and a completely different song based on a Korg Wavestation split sound. Nobody’s ever heard that; it might turn into a song one day.)

The only press about it

“Elicits a mysterious rainforest, ending with a sudden tape click.” – Madison Murray, Audible Addixion (the original link now goes to a site nobody should link to)
